Soooo...Multitasking dancer, actress and all round fab girl Khabonina Qubeka is adding another job description to her resume, singer. We have a sneak peak of her album cover soon to be released by Outrageous records. Miss Qubeka has been working on her cd for a while. I bumped in to her a while back at the Rage studio's (shout out to Maria for the awesome Natty CD btw) and she told me that she was working on an album. Apparently Zubz is the main producer. Not sure when she gets time in between Rhythm City and her Khabodacious dance classes and her clothing label..shooo..multi tasking. Khabonina also studied a BA through UNISA. (I'm not going to launch into my usual speech about how I love it when ladies in entertainment get their study on...) The CD has a mixture of sounds. Khabo says the first track has a kizomba feel to it, track two has a soul feel and the third track is a mixture of South African and Nigerian sounds. We saw that she is working with renowned Naija guitarist Kunle Ayo so I'm sure the songs are going to be hawt. Check out the cd cover.
I love a hard worker, and a hard worker who is prepared to test boundaries, not do the normal Afro pop vibe so I cant wait to hear her cd. You??
