New Moon Party: Drinks, toffee apples and diva's

Mimoney and Ster-Kinekor, with the help of Total Exposure, hosted an exclusive party on Friday at the recently revamped Taboo in Sandton. The vampire love film was released in the cinema in November 2009 and Mimoney had a competition running to invite those that bought the movie ticket through them to this party.
I felt thrilled as I approached the entrance. I received a VIP tag and was directed to the VIP entrance. I gather the other one was for peasants? Kidding...I soon started walking around and discovered the VIP section where the free alcohol was. A drink was quickly organised before I greeted the darkies I could recognise. Koyo of 3sum was seated next to the fab looking Iko Mash. The dress he wore (yes I said it) was hot not that I’d be seen in one or find him hot but let’s give props where necessary.



Bumped into Gerry Rantseli with the husband. What’s her new surname now? She’s a lovely soul, dresses well and she was friendly enough to pose for a picture. I love how despite the cast in her foot, she still epitomises style and glamour.Designer Thula Sindi graced the event:




While Dozi (*UPDATE* A man with an uncanny resemblence to Dozi) was taking advantage of the open bar and having Jagermeister shots (all three on his own, in succession) I quickly went down to the hip hop floor to take a quick glance and listen to familiar music. Bad mistake as I found the tab closed when I came back.



Entertainment journalists Gabi and Cassandra were all up in there and so was the “she is everywhere accused” Mokgadi Seabi from City Press. I must say even though they say she wears “to match” the birthday girl looked stunning.

Could Mika Stefano have a found a new man? I saw the apparent virgin with a stud that disappeared on him at times which led to Mika developing a sticky affair with a toffee apple. Messy stuff...



The food was great and so was the company. Not a  bad night out for the hustling one at all.
