Valentines day: Day of people trying to sell you really arb stuff in the name of showing someone that you love them. The day of movies, cuddling or sobbing on the couch stuffing your mouth with cookies depending on which side of the fence you sit on. The Black Tie affair, a premier concierge service in Cape Town hosted an intimate lunch for career women who were shining in their fields. The women's only lunch was attended by celebs like Face of Africa presenter and super schmodel Kaone Kario and Survivor SA winner survivor Vannessa Marawa. The lunch was held to celebrate women who love themselves and excel in thei fields. The women were hosted by Balducci's restaurant in the Waterfront. Balducci's is a slick modern restaurant in the V&A waterfront, renowned for their delish sushi, and fusion menu. They have won numerous Diners Club awards for excellent wine lists and have also won the 'Best Casual restaurant award' by the V&A waterfront.
