Jameson Guess Party

There are a couple of things about me that maybe, perhaps some may view as proof that I am a darkie...well I like nice things and if they are free, hey I’m a guest list away! Guess and Jameson combined the two to entertain Jozi’s party peeps and boy did they do it in style. I soon forgot about the disappointment of not making it to the SAFTAS when I saw the limo ride that was taking us to the party mansion. I was welcomed by hot models that had me wagging my tongue out as if I’d swallowed raw chilli.

Sultry cocktails (on the house of course) cooled me down as I looked for a spot to take pictures without permission or anyone being aware. I had a friend of mine with Sol, a former drag queen in his character in television series Mthunzini.Com and boy did we drink. I spotted Da Les with his super hot girlfriend in his very colourful shorts or should I say very pinkish shorts, displaying his swag on the beach bed. Those who felt sexy were sexy, Tansey and Zizo Beda from Selimathinzi were hot, I would have liked to get a close-up on her but she dashed for the Television and Film awards before I could build up enough courage to approach her, I should have drank more faster:




DJ Fresh saved us when he came through or should I say he took the ghettoness out of us. I saw myself pull moves I’ve never pulled before, the poor grass felt the drunk darkie dance wrath...I don’t know who is who’s sidekick between Dimplez and Milkshake, the two are inseparable except when rapper Morale . Speaking of comedians, shame Loyiso Gola did not seem too happy (don’t ask, I don’t know why) :



I caught a glimpse of Bantu Soul dressed in a Zulu outfit (Not goat skin silly, pink top and white pants, less the white shoes). It was obviously too hot to complete the look so he had some nice sandals on. Pelo from the Bala brothers sat with a group of girls next to the pool, he must have been missing someone close as he had his phone in his hands most of the time, chewing his gum away.

I must say most people who were invited did not make it for some reason, most seemed to prefer staying home and watching the national broadcaster give props to their actors and actress. Who drives PANANA GP? Shame she came alone , but having a group of girls around was the order of the day as I soon got acquainted with the “behind the scenes” girls of Mnet and Vuzu TV. I remember some of their names, only some. From the night that saw me sleep at 20H30, this was a super day where you wouldn’t be accused of being a drunkard (despite it happening). Although goody bags were not anywhere to be seen, I left before the tab closed...he he he!
