A few months ago we told you how KFC had partnered up with street comedy act "the Crazy Entertainers". The Crazy Entertainers make local low budget comedy DVD's that were inspired by NollyWood and KFC gave them much needed exposure and publicity (and money I'm sure) Last week KFC had a Premiere of the Cray Entertainers DVD and some of Joburg celebs came out to check it out. I was famished when we got to the launch so shout out to KFC of feeding me.( FYI: I had one piece of chicken. I'm trying to be sknny again.) Anywhoo, I digress. Pop the hood for deets on the DVD and who was proposed to at the launch.
DJ Sphectacular from Metro FM was the MC of the night. He was very well spoken, succinct and a great MC.
Before the movie was screened, one of the crazy entertainers proposed to dancer Khabonina Qhubeka. Very random but cute.
The DVD was hil.arious. Because Im an exile baby, I didn't understand some of the DVD but luckily there were subtitles. The story follows Phillip Baloyi, a black cat who will not leave a preacher alone and Senzeni, who is trying with all his heart to get married. I have never laughed that hard in a while. You *must get the DVD. It's hilar. The ending is brilliant.
Salamina Mosese was there with her Kwaito artist husband Howza. I saw them in the parking lot after the movie, he walked her to her car and made sure she was safe. Too cute, he opened the door and everything. *sigh. Chivalry is alive.
