The Miss South Africa beauty pageant according to the organizers "provides young women with the opportunity to enrich not only their own lives, but the lives of others." The new Miss South Africa will be crowned in Sun City later this year. The 12 Finalists will be announced on the 25th of October 2010. During her year of reign, Miss SA will travel around South Africa as well as across the world as an ambassador for her country. She will participate in charity work, uplift her country and act as a role model for all South African citizens. Miss South Africa will also represent her country in the prestigious Miss Universe and Miss World pageants. On the right is Precious Makgaretsa. She's something of an anomaly as she is extremely smart, yet works as full time model. Definitely our early favourite in the competition
On the left is Rachel Habib. She is a final year law student, who is extremely bright and has just entered the modelling world. Rachel speaks 3 languages. Her agent is Alushi Models, which is owned by South African model and mogul, Shashi Naidoo.

ReplyDeletefyi: having a "real job" doesn't make you smart. You can be a domestic worker, with no matric, and still be smart.
