In other news, French fashion label Bensimon has selected Idols presenter and JacarandaFM’s radio jock Liezel van der Westhuizen as the face to represent their brand in SA. With both a honors and Masters degree in communication, Liezel is the perfect beauty with brains you would want to associate a brand with. The Bensimon clothing collection hails from Paris and has been around for 25 years. They regard their clothing to timeless with a modern elegance, quality, comfort and understated elegance. They also have a range of sneakers in their collection which suites our blond superwoman’s lifestyle.
Model Max Mmethi is apparently celebrating his salon’s first year anniversary this month. As part of the celebrations, he has teamed up with 2 other beauty houses namely Sheek Nails and Matis Spa to provide the invited guest with massages, manicure and pedicures on the day. To top it off, lunch on the day will be served by Ciao Baby Cucini. It’s good to see that the latter is not depending on his looks and six pack to butter his bread, it takes guts to run a business and to have it running for a year is a bonus. The salon is based in Pretoria East’s Parkview mall.
Yesterday South Africa’s successful house band Gold Fish released a new album titled “Get busy living”. People who have heard the album say that it has what it takes to achieve the success of their previous album that led to them achieving nine SAMA nominations and bagging two. Their previous album “Perceptions of pacha” sold over 40 000 units and you know that in our country, those are good figures. I can't wait to hear what this duo has in store this time round.
