They may no longer be using “phola” as their slogan but the Redds team chose a sexy venue for their party for us to phola. The Randlords at night has the most beautiful view of Jozi and it’s big city lights. I didn’t know what to expect coming to this party besides the fact that Redds was going to be on tap. I don’t know what they have done to improve the drink but Redds Dry went down well in my throat, so much so, that I only left after the music stopped. It didn’t take long for this party to get heated up, we were fed while DJ Warras played some lekker tunes and then it was down to business with the MC’s for the night Mpho Maboi and Lungile Radu.

The red pants wearing Rhythm City actor made sure he identified with the brand that’s taking him to Capetown in December alongside other brand ambassadors such as Lulo Cafe and of course the draw winners for the trip, publicist Farah Fortune and journalist Mokgadi Seabi. It’s either these ladies are extremely fortunate or they have got VERY good sangomas, they are always winning. Promotions Specialist from SAB Lebogang Babe explained what the brand is all about and a lot more things were said but the real excitement was when comedian Chris Mapane came on stage. He looked slightly nervous at first but it wasn’t long before he had the audience in stitches except a few drunks who wouldn’t keep quiet even after loud screams of sssh’s
If there is one DJ that enjoys the music they play, it has to be DJ Zintle. I could see her passion through her dance moves. Yes, she shook her booty to “ bum bum”. I will not say anything further about her bum for fear of being sued, but you know she’s hot. I could have sworn I saw a blush and a giggle from actress Mmabatho Mantsho while she was having a conversation with Lungsta. I guess the boy still has her charm. She may have refused to pose for us but we all know she’s cute even with the....hairstyle.
Lulo Cafe got on to the decks and continued playing hot tunes. Here is on a break with Dj Dimplez:

I saw Mzwandile Ngubeni from Spirit Sundae and David Kau pulling off some dance moves. I think David was showing off to his very reserved wife....wa di tsamaya David, he he he!
David Kau on stage:

Spotted ex miss Sa Tansey Coetzee with publicist Farah Fortune:

Also there : Fairlady writer Janine Jellars and City Press' journalist Mokgadi Seabe

I also spotted soccer players Teko Modise and Dennis Masina mingling in the crowd while I tried my luck with the bar lady only to be turned down. I guess I only have my mojo with a whiskey glass in hand. Besides the soft porn in the bathroom and the thought that people could see our “totties” from the men’s bathroom with binoculars, this party was hot.
