Darlings! Summer is here which means it’s a whole season of fabulosity! Jackie Burger and Chris Viljoen from Elle Magazine spoke to us at the Elle Master card Style Week Launch about hot new looks for summer and can I just say, yum! Gone are the days of androgyny *YAY* we never really like that anyway, and in are the days of absolute, unadulterated femininity. Ladies, think floral, nudes, military chic and prints! Click through to read more fab style tips When I say prints, I’m not talking about warrior princess clad from head to toe in leopard, I’m talking about subtle, thought about solitary items in your outfit that add some zest. 
So think khaki utility trouser with an inca print top and nude shoe. Also very big this season is cuffing, you don’t have to go buy yourself capri pants, just fold your pants up an inch or two.
With this delightful sweep of femininity and modesty does come some no no’s. Bling is a big one! I know, I know, does this mean we have to pack our hoards of diamonds away? Not necessarily, this season is about wearing one jewelry piece at a time (if it’s big) and being minimalistic. It’s about wearing your jewelry and not letting it wear you. The same goes for handbags; functionality rules this season.
This season is built around key classic pieces that one should have in their wardrobe. It’s no longer about instant fashion, but rather about your own personal style and take on classics like the LBD. Find dresses that have a fantastic cut and quality and you will be wearing it seasons through!
